A unique and reliable way to travel around Bermuda is on the Sea Express ferry system. With a convenient network of embarking and debarking points - Hamilton, Dockyard, Somerset, Rockaway, Southampton, Warwick, Paget and St. George's - passengers can enjoy the islands' beauty from the water as they travel from one part to another. Bermuda's Sea Express ferry system provides residents and visitors a reliable, regular mode of transport. The network of stops across the island makes ferries an easy and convenient way to travel around Bermuda and affords passengers a perfect opportunity to see the islands' beauty from the water.

There are three year-round ferry routes: Pink Route, Hamilton-Paget-Warwick ($2.50 each way); Green Route, Hamilton-Rockaway ($4 each way); and Blue Route, Hamilton -

West End to Somerset and Dockyard ($4 each way). A seasonal service operates from April 6 to Nov. 1 from Dockyard to St. George's (Orange Route, $4 each way). In addition, there are five high-speed catamarans, which serve the longer routes to Dockyard and Rockaway, as well as St. George's. Moving at a speed of up to 32 knots, each boat is modern and comfortable, with a capacity of 200 or more passengers. The catamarans carry cycles at a cost of $4. Please ensure you have purchased your tickets, tokens or passes in advance to travel on all routes, since cash is not accepted. The most popular method of payment for visitors is the Transportation Pass, good for unlimited rides on the bus and ferry system. Passes are available for one day ($12), two days ($20), three days ($28), four days ($35), seven days ($45) or one month ($55). Reduced prices are available for children ages 5-16 ($2); children under 5 ride free.
