One of Bermuda’s oldest and most charming cottage colonies, Horizons and Cottages has been day dreaming on its sunny hilltop for almost three centuries. Horizons and Cottages is well named, commanding as it does one of the finest views of ocean and countryside on the island. The main house is pure Bermudian in architecture, with its whitewashed keystone corners, knee-high cedar fireplaces and tray ceilings.
Centrally located, Horizons and Cottages is a superb setting for a holiday in Bermuda. Dine by candlelight on the Ocean Terrace during summer months, with uninterrupted views across the ocean, or by one of the open log fires in the stonewashed dining room during the winter. The emphasis is very much on a high standard of personal service with a special charm and warmth that Horizons has become famous for over the years.
Horizons and Cottages has its own 9 hole mashie course, freshwater pool, putting green and three all weather tennis courts. Guests of Horizons are encouraged to enjoy all the facilities of The Coral Beach and Tennis Club, just across the road. There guests can enjoy the spectacular beach, championship clay floodlit tennis courts, squash, croquet, two restaurants, and the sophisticated fitness center complete with an in-house personal trainer. Golf can also be arranged at all the clubs in Bermuda, including the famed Mid-Ocean Club.
All of Horizons and Cottages' suites, rooms and cottages have been carefully furnished and are fully air-conditioned with private bathrooms, all with bath and showers en suite, some with Jacuzzis. Each has a hairdryer, trouser press, safe, telephone, flowers, bathrobes, seating area and either a private terrace or balcony with views of the golf course, gardens or ocean.
