Visit this life size replica of one of the two ships built by the castaways of the “Sea Venture” wreck of 1609. Explore above and below decks and follow the audio visual exhibits that portray life on board and how this ship became famous as “The Ship that Saved America”. Below decks you will meet William Strachey, Secretary to the Virginia Company, an automatronic life-size character tell the tale of survival on this bounteous island and of the eventual rescue of the starving settlers in Jamestown, Virginia in 1610.
