Bermuda Day is the culminating event of Heritage Month. Celebrated on May 24th — or the weekday nearest that date if that date falls on a weekend — it is a spectacular day commemorating the heritage and culture of Bermuda.
Locals line the streets to enjoy the lively Bermuda Day parade, featuring dance groups, bands, majorettes, decorated floats and, of course, Gombey troupes.
If you happen to be in Bermuda on this special day, here are some of the fun — and delicious — ways to celebrate one of the most exciting days of the year on the island!
